HootFF is a personal analytics tool for fantasy football players. It connects to your Sleeper account in read-only mode to surface insights, projections, dynasty valuations, and trade intelligence across your leagues. HootFF does not place transactions, make picks, or take any action within your Sleeper account.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use HootFF. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

HootFF accesses Sleeper’s public API using the username you provide. We request read-only access — we never ask for your Sleeper password, and we cannot modify your leagues, rosters, or settings in any way.

Your Sleeper username is stored locally in your browser only. It is never transmitted to or stored on HootFF servers. You are responsible for keeping your Sleeper account credentials secure.

You agree to use HootFF only for its intended purpose — personal fantasy football analytics. You must not:

• Attempt to scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer HootFF’s algorithms or scoring models.
• Use the Service to build a competing product.
• Circumvent any rate limits or technical restrictions of the Service or of the APIs it uses.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

HootFF relies on third-party data to power its features:

• Sleeper API — league, roster, player, and stats data. Subject to Sleeper’s own terms of service.
• FantasyCalc — public dynasty and redraft market values. Subject to FantasyCalc’s terms of service.

HootFF has no affiliation with Sleeper or FantasyCalc. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or continuity of data provided by these services.

Fantasy football involves inherent uncertainty. All projections, valuations, rankings, and signals generated by HootFF are informational estimates — not guarantees. Data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. You should always apply your own judgement before acting on any information provided by the Service.

HootFF is not a financial service and does not provide financial, legal, or gambling advice. Do not use HootFF as the sole basis for decisions involving real money.

All analytics models, algorithms, scoring engines, dynasty valuation logic, design systems, and software comprising HootFF are the exclusive intellectual property of HootFF and its creators. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to that intellectual property.

Player names, team names, and NFL statistics are the property of their respective owners. HootFF does not claim ownership over this data.

HootFF is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HootFF and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to lost fantasy matchups, trade decisions made using HootFF data, or service interruptions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of HootFF after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
